About us

NUCLEAR ASIA is a first of its kind digital platform, which will feed the ever-growing appetite of information, news and opinions about the civilian nuclear industry in South Asia with primary focus on India and Bangladesh.

Energy is the biggest challenge for the burgeoning economies of India and Bangladesh. Both the countries have been exploring myriad alternatives to satiate their energy demands in pursuance of their quest for development. Both the countries are looking for long term, environment friendly and sustainable alternative source of electricity generation.

A forward looking India has already vowed to increase its nuclear power generation capacity to 20 GW by 2020. The country has been taking a lead in the region and collaborating with neighbouring countries like Bangladesh and Sri Lanka (to begin with) in augmenting nuclear generation capability.

Nuclear Asia will be one stop solution for all your queries regarding the sector – policy issues, technical know-how, nuclear energy impact, and challenges in realising the nuclear energy goal.
